GMC v Professor David Southall - The Transcripts November 2007 Professor David Southall has been plagued with repeated complaints from the msbp group. The General Medical Council have persistently failed to understand the important and vital issues involved in child protection. During this hearing it was noted that: 1. Arnold Simanowitz. The founder of AVMA was a panellist. It should also be noted that AVMA has a panel of solicitors, a number of whom have been involved in cases against David Southall. 2. Professor Timothy David was hired as the expert. He failed to disclose the conflicts present. 3. Professor David Southall's hearing has been fraught with persistent negative publicity brought on by Penny Mellor and her cohorts. We conclude that Professor David Southall has had no rights to Article 6 of the Human Rights Act 1998. As such, the General Medical Council has failed to assess his fitness to practise fairly. They have instead listened to the propaganda surrounding this issue. The only independent witness, the social worker Ms Salem in the case of Child M was intimidated by the panel and the GMC's barrister Mr Tyson. The transcripts listed below are a continuation of those listed here. We present the material so the public can have the opportunity to make up their own minds with respect to the charges. As Professor Southall has been denied his free speech by the gag of patient confidentiality, we present the version of events from each side of the fence - the defence and the prosecution.
