Dr Tushar Bhadra v General Medical Council

The case involves that of Dr Tushar Bhadra. His story was featured in 1999 by the newspapers. Tushar continues to fight a long and difficult battle against the GMC and has done so for sometime. He voiced his concerns in 2002 in a BMJ Rapid Response. This was his recent judgment by the GMC.

Tushar asserts that his defence union the Medical Protection Society has failed him. A narrative is listed here.

Tushar though single-handedly beat the General Medical Council legal team in securing the right for doctors to sue at the Employment Tribunal. The judgment can be downloaded in PDF format.
