What Really Happened to Dr Jennifer Colman An Introduction Index
Chapter One : The Facts behind the Myth
The facts stretches over a 20 year period but it is important to realise that Dr Colman only became aware of crucial documents on 2 December 2005 which the General Medical Council and Cambridge University had either refused to release or denied ever existed. The effect of this has been that Dr Colman has been denied justice for over 20 years and the fight back begins with the publication of this article. The documents discovered show that Dr Colman had been dealt with in a way which cast doubt upon the legitimacy and lawfulness of regulatory acts done to her 20 years ago by the GMC and employers, and which affected her career as a doctor and brought it to an end. Although Dr Colman is a fully registered medical practitioner she has been unable to gain employment since February 1991 and has met with a wall of prejudice which has been compounded by unfair and unlawful acts done to her more recently since 2000.
We will examine in some detail Dr Harris’s part in this fallacy. Later in 2000 Dr Paul Diggory wrote a malicious letter containing assertions which he must have known were lies, to the GMC suggesting that Dr Colman was also unsuited to be an elected member of the GMC, which is also not the case. In effect that means that anyone who would employ Dr Colman can read postings from Dr Paul Diggory of Mayday Hospital Croydon and also his wife who goes by the name of Miss Wendy Franks of Moor fields Hospital London, and also the GMC internet postings through their own website and that of the BMJ, of Dr Colman being unsuited to hold office, which amounts to a bad reference published to the world at large. The whole intention of this is to make sure that although Dr Colman is a fully registered medical practitioner and also registered with the Bar Council she will not be employed. Dr Colman bore this with considerable fortitude until she discovered the documents which had remained hidden in the GMC, at their solicitors and also in Cambridge University in December 2005 after some considerable pressure from Berryman, Lace, Mawer solicitors acting for Dr Colman and the Medical Protection Society. These include handwritten evidence from Professor Sherwood, previous Dean to Cambridge Clinical School which shows that he was in touch covertly with the GMC as early as 1985 to bring pressure to bear on the GMC staff to ensure that Dr Colman was never registered. The documents show that the intention was, on the flimsiest of evidence and no evidence at all and by repeated and sustained “badmouthing” of Dr Colman, to cause her damage and destroy her career over the past 26 years. Dr Colman is not the only doctor who has been treated like this but what is probably unique about Dr Colman’s case and therefore what makes it of special interest is that she has been on both sides of the fence with the GMC and as a result she has a unique experience which should now be told to the world through this website.

Colman has been described on the internet by a Dr Paul Diggory as a serious
criminal and a racist homophobe, which is not the case. It is of interest
that Paul Diggory has never met Dr Colman and does not know her. His wife
Miss Wendy Franks, who does not know Dr Colman either, has described Dr
Colman as someone who suffers from an episodic psychiatric disorder, a
misdiagnosis which began in 1985 with a District Medical Officer known
then as Dr Anne Brown and now calling herself Dr Elizabeth Harris’s
wholly fallacious assertion to the GMC that Dr Colman was likely to be
suffering from porphyria, rendering her unfit as a doctor. However Dr
Harris did not know and had never met Dr Colman either. However all research
has shown that Dr Colman is not related to King George, the most notable
sufferer from this disease or anyone else who may suffer from it.
